HEMAG
Former German manufacturer of woodworking machinery. Was taken over together with OKOMA by the Belgian company HACO.

ca. 1995 | Cooperation with the French manufacturer CHAMBON. |
1993 | The Belgian company Haco purchases HEMAG and OKOMA and their trade marks as well as their patents. |
1993 | Bankruptcy of the proprietor of Hirsch. |
1988 | The sales firm Hirsch, a former seller of OKOMA - and HEMAG- machines, takes over the companies and continues HEMAG production. He builds a hydraulic angle plant named HEMAG "System OKOMA". Production is stopped about 1991, because the machine was too expensive and costly. |
1988 | Bankruptcy. |
about 1985 | The founder Fritz Manasek dies, the sons manage the company. |
1975 | The super surfacer FINAMAT is launched. There are employed 50-100 employees. |
about 1970 | The UMFÄLZROTOR is further developed to AUTOMAT. |
about 1968 | The models SCHLITZROTOR and UMFÄLZROTOR are built. |
1963 | The first FRÄSROTOR, which became be a successful model, is constructed. In Kirchheim near Heidelberg there's a small production facility for series production. |
1962 | Establishment in Eppelheim near Heidelberg by Fritz Manasek. |
