Energy management system, which lowers the consumption of energy and thus, also decreases noises: when no workpieces are fed to the machine, the speed of the engines of the aggregates, which are designed with the highest efficiency level, is decreased and a flap at the suction calmping fan is closed to considerably decrease the air flow. Because of this, the energy consumption of the machine can be lowered considerably, depending on the load. When new workpieces are fed into the machine, all engines are quickly accelerated again. If the customer-specific suction device allows for it, the machine can stop the air flow through aggregates that are not used by controlling the flaps of the individual exhaust hoods and thus, allow for savings concerning the energy consumption of the suction device. Among others, this energy concept has been used in the MFA IMPRESSION and MFA 10.
