Pressure beam sawAlternative term for beamsaws or panel saws This term can be traced back to Gino Benuzzi, the founder and eponym of the company GIBEN/ Italy. By introducing large-sized chipboards in the 60's, he developed a sawing machine with a pressure beam, which affixes the workpiece on a machine table and a moveable saw aggregate, which divides the panels. The pressure beamsaw was born. The term is being used i.a. by the companies HOLZ-HER, Giben and Panhans. |
