Programmable stop

An essential component in all beam saws.

The program fence is situated in the back part of the machine, usually guided on both sides on solid steel tubes. The measuring system lies within the steel tubes. A program fence has several clamp grippers for the secure clamping, moving and exact positioning of the workpiece in the machine.

Depending on the equipment of the machine, program fences have the following functions:

  • front loaders: clamping and backwards pulling of the panels
  • rear loading: taking or removing of the programmed amount of panels
  • secure clamping and exact positioning of the workpieces
  • removing remaining material

EU speed regulations

In the EU, a feeding speed at max. 25 m/min heading towards the user is allowed (for safety reasons).
