Crosscut saw in double end tenoner

You see the entry in

In double end tenoners, trimming saws are used for the precise cutting of the workpieces, in dimension and angle, before they are processed by other aggregates. In the simplest version, they consist of a non-swiveling motor with saw blade, which lies above the workpiece level. Usually, a bottom-acting scoring aggregate is located in front of it.

A problem are the created remaining pieces, because they can only be transported up to a certain size. Because of this, most machines are equipped with a hogger instead of a trimming saw.
