Assembly on edgebanding machines for shaped workpieces and compact edgebanding machines, consisting of guiding fence, rubberized guiding roll and glue roller with glue pot.

The guiding fence with guiding roll is supposed to guide straight-edged workpieces to the pressure roll, so that an optimal adhesion between the workpiece and the edge material is achieved. To this end, the guiding fence is set in a way that it is located in front of the pressure roll, the distance being equal to the edgeband thickness. The workpiece is pressed against the guiding fence by the operator and moved in the direction of the glue roller by the guiding roll. On the glue roller the glue is applied to the workpiece edge. The edge material is supplied between the glue roller and the pressure roll by a spike roller and then pressed on by the pressure roll.

Guiding roll and pressure roll rotate at the same speed and are both driven by the main drive.
